AUBURN — Jessica Staples of Auburn, a student at Central Maine Community College, will be participating in the Exploring Transfer (ET) program at Vassar College this summer.

For 30 years, the ET program at Vassar has successfully introduced community college students to the possibilities of transfer to a wide range of four-year colleges and universities.

A President’s Honors student in the general studies program, Staples works part-time at CVS in Auburn as a licensed pharmacy technician. After she completes her studies at CMCC, she plans to transfer and possible pursue studies in translation and foreign languages, especially Japanese.

While at Vassar from June 19 to July 24, Staples will take courses and live on campus. She will return to CMCC in the fall.
