What a shame. How does hiding a lethal weapon contribute to the “Pathway to prosperity” that Gov. Paul LePage and his administration espouse? How about a middle class, senior-friendly tax plan that requires more from those who have done very well (wealthy) in Maine and beyond? I don’t believe that most wealthy residents create jobs in Maine. They prefer to invest in high return, blue-chip investments that make huge profits from banks and health care industries and off-shore factory locations on the backs of very low-paid wage earners.

Few job makers want to come to Maine where the governor insults those who disagree with him, where the poor are blamed for the state’s ills, and good education, health care, renewable energy, modern broad band and land transportation are not priorities.

I believe that Maine is heading down a pathway, but not the right one.
