WILTON — Preventing, Recognizing and Responding to Abuse in At-Risk Populations will hold Franklin County’s Senior Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18 at the Wilton Public Safety Building. The event will provide insight and information about local resources.
Guest speakers will teach attendees how to protect their assets and avoid scams. The event will host speakers from the following organizations: SeniorsPlus, Legal Services for the Elderly, the Farmington and Jay Police Departments, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Franklin County District Attorney’s Office. Mt. Blue Pharmacy will be there to conduct medication consultations.
This event is free of charge and open to anyone interested in learning more about local services for seniors. There will be raffle drawings, and a lunch will be provided.
The event is supported by Franklin Savings Bank, Wilton Benevolent Association, and Tyngtown Club.
