ANSWER: Sun Spots has learned that the United New Auburn Association Community Yard Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, in the combined parking lots of Rolly’s Diner and the New Auburn Social Club. You can donate items to UNAA for its fund raising table or reserve a table to sell items for yourself. To reserve your table space, contact Ken Blais at 207-753-0171. A $10 donation fee will be accepted per space, with the proceeds going toward the various community projects that UNAA helps support. Beneficiaries this year are Marshall’s Popcorn Truck and the Walton School running track.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Sometimes “thank you” never seems to be enough and this is one of those times. On behalf of the Sumner Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Sumner Volunteer Fire Department Fire Fighters, I am sending this thank you to each and every person who had, in some way or another, a hand in making our annual yard/bake/plant sale held on Saturday, June 6, a huge success. Also, congratulations to Paul Ackley who was the excited winner of our Fish & Fry raffle. We are already looking forward to our next sale on the first Saturday of June, 2016!
