ORANGE CITY, Fla. — Roswell Clinton Hamilton Jr. died June 10, in Florida.
He was born in Portland, March 28, 1930, to Roswell and Mable Hamilton. He married Winifred J. Allen on Aug. 11, 1952. They were married until her death on Sept. 17, 1987.
He worked for Snow’s Tires in Auburn for many years, becoming their top salesman. Later in life, he moved to Florida and worked for McDonald’s in Deland as a maintenance man until he was 84.
He is survived by his companion, Lil; a son, Ray Hamilton and his wife, Claire, of Livermore; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
