An electronics waste collection day will be held this Saturday, June 27 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Old Town city transfer station at 246 Gilman Falls Avenue.
The following electronic and other universal waste will be accepted: televisions, computer monitors, computers, desktop printers, laptops, digital picture frames, game consoles, computers and periphery photo copiers, fax machine, cell phones, microwaves, CD players/DVD players, servers, network equipment, ballast mercury thermostats, and batteries (all types except alkaline). No light bulbs or fluorescent bulbs allowed.
This is open to residents from Old Town, Orono and Milford. The event is sponsored by: Electronics End, LLC of Brewer. For more information call 207-922-2094.
