DIXFIELD — The Ludden Memorial Library has announced its summer children’s programming.
The library will host “Super crafts day” from 2-3 p.m. June 30. Participants can design their own heroic masks or create their own.
“Butterfly Heroes” will be held at 1:30 p.m. July 7. The event will feature the Monarch butterfly migration. Children will make a butterfly, bat or dragonfly t-shirt. Those attending should bring a light-colored t-shirt or may purchase one at the event for $4.
The Chewonki Foundation will present “Hero Adaptations” from 2-3 p.m. July 14. Attendees can take an up-close look at the powers and abilities of animals in the natural world with real LIVE animals.
“The Mighty Mr. I The Science Guy” event will be held from 2-3 p.m. July 21. He will perform experiments.
The library’s closing program will take place from 2-3 p.m. July 28. The event will feature “The Magic of the Great Stephan.”
Children may register for the summer reading program any time after the last day of school.
