POLAND — R&R,   a duo featuring singer-songwriter and guitarist Ronda Dale and singer- songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rob Babson, will perform Sunday, June 22, at the All Souls Chapel as part of the  Continuing Summer Concert Series by the Poland Spring Preservation Society.  Tickets are $7.50 and the doors open at 6:30 p.m.; R & R will be performing at 7. R&R  performs originals and eclectic covers with blues, country, bluegrass, rock and jazz influences.  

Babson has  performed with N.E. Town and The Delta Knights. In addition to a robust solo career, Dale has also performed as bassist for the Portland-based original music trio Truth About Daisies.  

Dale is new to the series. “I come from Central Virginia, in the piedmont of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, where most of my family still lives. I’ve traveled around some, gotten some schoolin’, lived in the Northern VA/DC area, Spain, NYC, on a sailboat for a few years, on glorious Peaks island off the coast of southern Maine for 14 years, crossed Casco Bay and am now based in Portland.
