DIXFIELD — This year’s Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, June 27, at Dirigo High School.

Doors open at 3 p.m. Supper will be at 5 p.m.

Last year Hazel Kennedy, Frances Carlton, her daughter Eileen, and granddaughter Joyce were honored.

This year they are honoring Albert Spaulding.

Spaulding has been very active in town affairs and the Dixfield Historical Society.

The main purpose of the alumni is to present scholarships to graduating seniors. This year Jon Holmes awarded six scholarships at class night.

The Dixfield Historical Society will have a table in the gym.

Starting at 3:30 p.m. there will be tours given through the school. Those wanting a tour should leave names at the sign-in table.

Anyone who have ever attended any of the Dixfield schools is eligible to be an alumni.
