HOULTON — The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency made six more arrests in connection with a methamphetamine manufacturing operation discovered June 17 in a southern Aroostook County apartment house, Maine Department of Public Safety Spokesman Stephen McCausland said Monday.
Working with the Houlton Police Department and the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office, the MDEA arrested and charged with Class B unlawful trafficking of schedule W drugs Jesse Case, 29; Earl Little Jr., 25; Crystal Cameron, 29; Mataya Gardner, 21, and Bruce King, 36.
Also arrested was Gary Gardner, 59, who was charged with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs due to a prior drug felony conviction.
All six are from Houlton and were transported to the Aroostook County Jail.
On June 17 the MDEA arrested Toni Bulley, 48, after search warrants were executed in two apartments at the 13 Columbia St. complex, Supervisory Special Agent Craig Holder of the MDEA said last week.
Bulley was a resident of the apartment house, according to McCausland.
After Bulley’s arrest, McCausland said agents from the MDEA Aroostook Task Force continued their investigation to identify others they believed assisted her with making the meth or helping her acquire the materials used to make the drug.
That investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible, McCausland said.
