JAY — The Jay Village Water District lifted a boil-water order at 4:30 p.m. Monday that was put in place last Thursday because of a water break.
The affected area included Main Street, Ludden Drive, Hyde Road, Spring Street, Forest Circle and Intervale Road to Smith Avenue, according to an email by Ronald Moreau, the water district’s treasurer.
The water was determined safe for public consumption after water samples were tested at a lab in Augusta.
