LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Simone Dionne Thursday morning, July 2, at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Fortin Funeral Home in Lewiston. The Rev. Lionel Chouinard celebrated the Mass.
The first reading was offered by granddaughter, Kimberly (Dionne) Mcleod; the offertory gifts were brought forth by great-grandchildren, Ella and Ethan Boucher; and a eulogy at the conclusion of the Mass was given by granddaughter, Karen (Dionne) Boucher.
The Rev. Chouinard recited committal prayers at graveside at St. Peter’s Cemetery. The casket bearers were David Thibodeau, Jason Croft, Brian Boucher, Ethan Boucher and Josh Mcleod.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Fortin Group Funeral Home, Cremation and Monument Services.
