PARIS — Bessey Motors remained unbeaten Wednesday — barely.
Nick Attaliades-Ryan drove a double deep to right field to plate Jake Spinhern with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as Bessey edged Tri-Town 5-4 at the Gouin Athletic Complex.
Spinhern was on second after a fielder’s choice earlier in the inning and a subsequent single.
Riley Chickering picked up his fourth win of the season on the mound with the complete-game effort Wednesday, allowing just six hits over seven innings.
Lukas Johnson was the tough-luck losing pitcher for Tri-Town. Ethan Cailler led the way for Tri-Town on offense with a pair of hits.
