1958 – 2015

LEWISTON — Terri L. Thurston, 56, died unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, July 4.

She was born in Lewiston on Sept. 28, 1958, the daughter of William and Jeanne (Couture) Thurston of New Gloucester.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Cureton of Lewiston; her son, Christopher Cureton of Lewiston; and her two beloved grandchildren, Maxwell and Isaac Graham; as well as her sisters, Gail Thurston of Gray, Brenda Atwater of Colorado, Lisa Thurston of Brownfield and Melissa True of New Gloucester; along with many nieces and nephews.

She grew up in Danville and attended Auburn schools. She went on to pursue her passion in cosmetology. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, entertaining and interior decoration. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed the time spent with her two grandbabies, Maxwell and Isaac. She had a heart of gold that was shown through her generosity and kindness.
