1937 – 2015
FARMINGTON — Pauline E. Breton, 78, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away at Sandy River Center nursing home, Tuesday, July 14.
She was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Farmington, the daughter of Roland Luce and Freda (Tracy) Luce. She attended school in Farmington. On April 23, 1955, she married Conrad Breton. Pauline and Conrad had one daughter, Gloria (Breton) Maxwell, who passed away in 2012.
Pauline was a communicant and Eucharistic minister at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, where she also taught CCD for many years. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Pauline worked as a foreman at Livermore Falls Shoe for many years.
She loved baking and was known for her very large bell collection.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 60 years, Conrad Breton; two brothers, Melvin Luce and his wife, Linda, of Massachusetts, and Linwood Luce of Chesterville; two sisters; Janice Town and her husband, Peter, of Kittery, and Evelyn McLeod and her husband, Steve, of Sanford; and one granddaughter, Kaylee Maxwell.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Gloria Maxwell; grandson, Richard Maxwell; and brother, Earle Luce and his wife, Sandy.
