WAYNE — Cary Memorial Library will hold its 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1.

The family-friendly course begins at Wayne Elementary School and goes through downtown Wayne.

Registration is at 8:30 a.m. at the Wayne Elementary School, 48 Pond Road. Registration forms can be downloaded from the library’s website at http://www.cary-memorial.lib.me.us or can be picked up at the library. Same-day registration is allowed.

Friends of the Library Cary Festival will also happen during the race from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include a book and bake sale, a children’s concert with Buster B and a lobster lunch available from noon to 1 p.m. The library’s traditional silent auction will be open as well, with creations on display awaiting bids.
