As a 30-year resident and current property owner in Lewiston, I write in enthusiastic support of Ben Chin’s candidacy for mayor.
I have known Chin since his undergraduate days at Bates and have long admired his intelligence and his capacity to consider varieties of perspective. His years of hard work for the Maine People’s Alliance have given him comprehensive experience with the workings of city governance, as well as with the aspirations of ordinary citizens making their livings and homes in this community.
Wise well beyond his years, Chin will bring compassion, vigor, inclusiveness and foresight to the office.
It is time now for Lewiston, poised to become the great city it should be, to elect a mayor whose energy and vision can help achieve this goal — Ben Chin.
