Herb Walk planned

LEWISTON — There will be an herb walk beginning at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at The Ark, 791 Lisbon St.

The walk will be hosted by Donna Matson and Jane Kuntz, family herbalist.

The walk will focus on identifying medicinal herbs found in the wild. Participants should wear appropriate footwear and bring bug spray.

Casco Days to hold supper

CASCO — The Casco Village Church will host its annual Casco Days Supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 25.

Beans, hot dogs, chop suey, salads and homemade pies will be served.

The cost for this event is $8 for adults, $5 for children younger than 8, and $21 maximum for families with young children.

National Federation of the Blind to meet

LEWISTON — The National Federation of the Blind of Maine will hold its second meeting of the Lewiston-Auburn Chapter from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Gridiron Restaurant at 1567 Lisbon Street.

The reservation for the side room is in Leanne Nelson’s name.

Those attending will be responsible for their own order off the menu.

Anyone in the Lewiston-Auburn area is invited to attend.
