Friday, July 24, Sassquatch will perform at She Doesn’t Like Guthries, 115 Middle St., Lewiston.  Sassquatch is a fusion band based out of Augusta, with members Jared Wilkinson (guitar, sax, vocals), Christine McCormick (vocals, songwriter, lyricist, synth), Matt Knight (guitar), Bryant Sirois (guitar, synth), Dan Gilbert (bass), and Cameron Lopez (drums). Each member of the band is an experienced musician, many of whom have studied in the University of Maine system. Lopez has performed at Guthries many times with his other band, The Portland Rhumba Project. The performance begins at 8 p.m.; there is no cover. FMI:  call 376-3344.
