LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Gisele I. Lagasse was celebrated by Monsignor Marc Caron Thursday morning at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.
During the Mass, Gisele’s granddaughter, Stacey Chase, proclaimed a reading from the New Testament. Granddaughter, Angelina Davis Durrkin, recited the Prayer of the Faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by granddaughters, Corrine Durkin and Heather Marsh.
The pallbearers were Steven and Scott Robitaille, Ryan Lagasse, Billy Gayton, Joseph Davis and Alex Fitzler.
Burial will be held Tuesday, July 28, at noon at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta.
