TURNER — Kora Shrine of Lewiston will host its fourth annual Kora Kares for Kids Ride-In at Twitchell’s Airport in Turner Saturday, Aug. 29, to raise funds and awareness for Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Kora is inviting all owners of motorcycles, classic cars and ATVs to bring their rides for the day to enjoy the fun and fellowship the Shriners are known for and to help with their quest of helping children defy the odds every day.

The day will start with a breakfast and social gathering to meet with Shriners Hospitals for Children patients to hear their success stories. Registration and breakfast is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. All rides leave at 10:30 a.m.

Activities at the field will include live bands, a barbecue competition, games, merchandise, prizes and food vendors. DennyMike’s Sauces & Seasonings is sponsoring the barbecue competition. Live bands will include Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations. Admission to the field is free, but donations are recommended.

Those interested in attending should visit www.korashriners.org to purchase tickets for the ride or contact a Shriner. The field at Twitchell’s Airport will be open from noon to 6 p.m. The event is open to the public and everyone is welcome.
