FARMINGTON — There will be two “Preserving the Harvest” workshops coming up at the Fairbanks School at 508 Fairbanks Rd. on Aug. 13 and 20. Both of the workshops take place from 4-7 p.m. and are being conducted by LEAP employees.

On Aug. 13, learn how to dehydrate apples, tomatoes, and herbs. See how to vacuum-seal blueberries and kale, and learn about freezing marinara sauce.

Then, on Aug. 20, learn how to can fruit, jam, and dill pickles. Donations are thankfully accepted for both workshops.
