FARMINGTON — A local non-profit supporting the arts in Western Maine offers ongoing schedule of events, including Expressive Collage, a fun workshop that is offered once a month.
Upcountry Artists Gallery & Learning Center, 161 Main St., Farmington, announces a fun workshop on Saturday, Aug. 8th, from 6 to 9 p.m. Participants are invited to express themselves and make a creative statement by piecing together their very own unique collage on a canvas panel suitable for framing.
Incorporate images, textures, typography, paints and inks, cut-outs, fibers and fabrics. If you have an interesting photo or other imagery you would like to incorporate, bring it along! If not, enjoy many curiously interesting and inspiring materials to choose from.
Light refreshments provided (or bring a favorite beverage and a snack to share). The cost is $25 per person. All materials are included.
