ROXBURY — The Board of Selectmen will discuss bids for a town website and the paving of the Town Hall parking lot at a selectmen’s meeting Tuesday night.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Roxbury Town Office.
Chairman John Sutton said during a 2014 selectmen meeting that the summer and capital road work budget at the time had a balance of $68,955, but the estimated cost of paving the Town Hall parking lot would be $72,715. At that meeting, Sutton said that he wanted to have the paving done by spring 2015.
The selectmen will also review a spreadsheet of bid proposals for the establishment of a town website. The town currently uses a Facebook page to inform residents of town business.
Residents voted at the 2015 annual town meeting to raise and appropriate $2,500 to create a town website. During the board’s July 28 meeting, the selectmen opened up the bid proposals for the project.
Other items on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting include an update on the town’s dry hydrants and a review of tax-acquired property bids.
