1942 – 2015
LITCHFIELD — Barbara Alice Gamache, 72, of Litchfield, passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at her home, surrounded by family.
She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 28, 1942, to Ralph and Lillian Moulton. She married her husband, Joseph Gamache Sr., on March 6, 1964. They recently celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Barbara will always be remembered as a strong, loving, selfless woman. She never asked for anything and was always happy with the simple things in life. She enjoyed crocheting, watching her shows, playing cards with her family and spending quality time with her loved ones and her dog, “Champ.” She was a loving mom and wife.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Arthur Moulton; and great-grandmother, Alfreda Reardon.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Gamache Sr.; children, David Gamache of Attleboro, Mass., Joey Gamache of New York, N.Y., Terry Gamache of Sabattus, Robert Roux of Sabattus, Marc Roux of Sabattus and Debra Cole of Auburn; brother, Robert Moulton of Lewiston; sister, Pauline Brown of Virginia Beach, Va.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
