1952 – 2015
AUBURN — Dale Robert Marston, 63, of Leeds passed way peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Hospice House in Auburn.
He was born in Augusta on Aug. 8, 1952, the son of Mary and Charles Marston. He grew up in Leeds with his two brothers and three sisters.
On Oct. 9, 1995, he married Laurie Blake. They had two sons, William Charles Marston and Kenneth Robert Marston, of whom he was very proud.
Dale had many interests, including working on his old truck with his sons, hunting, his many gardens, riding his motorcycle and boating with his family. Dale worked for 43 years as a crane operator at Bath Iron Works.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie; his sons, William and Kenneth; three sisters, Paula Wing and husband, Monte Wing, Susan O’Leary, and Nancy Bachelder; and two brothers, Gary Marston and Stephen Marston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
