OAKLAND — Police say an Oakland man died after he was rescued from his burning mobile home.
Forty-nine-year-old Donald Shores Jr. died after emergency responders took him to the hospital on Sunday. The Morning Sentinel reports the fire is under investigation. State police spokesman Steve McCausland says investigators “do have some questions” about the fire.
Officials say the fire was reported around noon on Sunday and it extensively damaged the inside of the house. No one else was injured and there were no other occupants in the house at the time of the fire.
