DIXFIELD — Marion Porter, 59, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 18, at her residence on Main Street in Dixfield.
Born in Rumford on Jan. 25, 1956, she was a daughter of Clifford and Cora (Petrie) Wade. She attended schools in Dixfield.
Marion was married in Dixfield in 1973 to Carl Porter of Dixfield, who survives her. Other survivors include a son, Randall Porter and his wife, Samantha, of Rumford Center; three brothers, Lee Wade and his wife, Audrey, of Jay, Neil Wade of Weld, and Douglas Wade and his wife, Susan, of Rumford Point; three sisters, Lynn Smith and her husband, Dan, of Statesboro, Ga., Cynthia Woodard and her husband, Michael, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Brenda McCarthy-Franz and her husband, Ron, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Britney and Kourtney Porter of Rumford Center.
