1950 – 2015

AUBURN — Diane I. Tardif, 65, of Sabattus died on Monday, Aug. 31, at the Androscoggin Hospice House, following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on March 22, 1950, the daughter of the late Henry and Priscilla (Beaulieu) Chasse and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was educated in Lewiston schools and was a graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School, Class of 1968.

She was employed in the billing department at McKesson for many years.

Diane enjoyed camping, attending fairs and dining out. She was an avid Patriots and Maine Black Bears fan.

She was really appreciative and thankful for the Dempsey Center.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Tardif of Sabattus, whom she married on June 12, 1971; two daughters, Vicki Holland and her husband, Lee, of Acton, Mass., and Laura Tardif and her boyfriend, Jonathan Ruppart, of Somerville, Mass.; a granddaughter, Elise Holland of Acton, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Chasse, who died in December 2014.
