LEWISTON — The Rev. Annie Baker-Streevy at the Calvary United Methodist Church is beginning a new book group from 11 a.m. to noon Mondays and 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 59 Sabattus St.

She will explore the book “When Christians Get It Wrong” by Adam Hamilton. Each week will cover a different segment of the book. Sept. 7 and 9 will be “Christians are Unchristian” and Sept. 14 and 16 will be “Christians, Science and Politics.” Other topics will be announced in advance.
