RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Omer C. Pelletier was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist.

Music selections were “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “Hosea, Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling,” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by Arita Zitoli. The New Testament was proclaimed by Georgette Hodgson. Offertory gifts were presented by Becky Smith and Heidi Charity. Personal reflections were shared by Paul Richard.

Interment will be in St. John Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers were Jerry Pelletier, Janet Blaha, Debbie Bradley and Randy Gallant. Military honors were rendered by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.

Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
