1927 – 2015
AUBURN — Betty Elaine Williams, 88, of Auburn died peacefully at her home with her family all around her on Thursday, Sept. 17.
She was born to Irving Groves and Fredacy Pray on July 21, 1927, in Auburn. She always enjoyed being the life of the party.
She was a published author, teacher and missionary with New Tribes Mission to the Xerente Nation in the interior of Brazil.
She is survived by her five children; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, and she is known to us as “Geegee.”
