PHILLIPS — The 24th Annual Phillips Scarecrow Reunion will take place Oct. 3 and 4. Families, businesses, groups and individuals are invited to erect a scarecrow at the Scarecrow Lot at the intersection of Routes 142 and 149.

All scarecrows must be placed by noon on Oct. 4 and taken down by Sunday, Oct. 18. Each scarecrow should be strong enough to endure at least two weeks of weather and wind.

A People’s Choice Award will be given. Votes will be taken from Oct. 4 through Columbus Day.

There is no registration fee.

Donations will be accepted with all proceeds going to the Phillips Conservation Commission.
