1929 – 2015
AUBURN — Edith M. (Ford) “Pat” Landean, 86, of Auburn died on Monday, Sept. 21, at the Odd Fellows’ & Rebekahs’ Home of Maine. She was the wife of the late Maurice Landean.
She was born on March 4, 1929, in Lewiston, a daughter of the late John Ford and Alice H. (Hamilton) Carr and has been a Lewiston-Auburn resident all of her life.
Pat enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and scrapbooking, as well as eating lobster, and she loved Moxie. She also greatly enjoyed the outdoors and would spend as much time as possible at her campground at Range Pond, listening and watching the birds.
She is survived by her son, William Landean; and her daughter, Susan Miers; as well as four grandchildren, Noah and Andrew Breau, Clint Landean and Seth Debios. She also leaves three sisters, Gloria Butler, Patricia Cory and Gloria Emery; and five brothers, Edward and Ronald Carr, Frank, and John and Henry Ford; as well as several nieces and nephews.
