BETHEL – A Bethel man will give a presentation on his life as an artist and gem cutter from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in the McLaughlin Auditorium at Gould Academy.
Jim Mann will talk about how he became involved in the world of rocks and minerals and why Maine is a good place to discover them.
His talk is hosted by the Western Mountains Senior College.
Residents can bring their rocks for Mann to assess and provide information.
