Although I have been in the City of Lewiston for only a year and a half, in that time I have followed the political landscape of this city and know that change is needed.

I understand that Ben Chin is young, but there comes a time when the way of doing things has to change, and the time is now for Lewiston to make that change.

Chin comes from an immigrant family and knows first-hand the struggles of making a life for yourself and your family. Lewiston grew with immigrants — there is no denying that — whether from Canada or Somalia, people all came here from somewhere.

I hope others will join me in supporting Ben Chin for mayor of Lewiston.
