1961 – 2015

TURNER — Cathleen Vera Duchette became an angel on Sunday, Sept. 27, surrounded by her loving family.

Cathy was born on Sept. 16, 1961, to Aubin and Marion Gallant as one of a set of identical twins. Her precious sister became an angel on Dec. 10, 1961. She was educated in Lewiston schools, graduating in 1980. She married the love of her life, Leo Duchette, on Nov. 29, 1980. The following years found her blessed with a son, Christopher, and a daughter, Crystal, who were the world to her.

Cathy loved life and her family. She especially enjoyed cookouts, country music, scary TV shows and the countless number of friends and family who stopped by for coffee and a chat. She also had an incredible knack for crocheting everything from blankets to hats and mittens. Cathy was a kind and caring soul who was always there when you needed her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Rest in peace our sweet angel. She is survived by her loving husband, Leo; a son, Christopher; and a daughter, Crystal, all of Turner; her parents, Aubin and Marion Gallant of Lewiston; her brothers, Randall Gallant and his companion, Rose Duchette, of Turner, Scott Gallant and wife, Susan, of Lewiston; her sister, Dee and husband, Phil, of Wilton; many cousins, nieces, nephews, countless friends; her beloved dogs, Charlie and Buddy; her granddog, Bai; and her cat, Penny.
