1938 – 2015
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fernande “Fern” Roy of Fairfield, Conn., passed away suddenly Thursday, Oct. 1, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
Fern was born on June 29, 1938, and raised in Lewiston, the daughter of Albert and Aline Gaultier Lizotte. She was a homemaker, worked as a chef and enjoyed music, shopping and finding the perfect gift for her family, bird-watching and spending time with family.
Fernande is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Roy; two daughters, Doreen Roy Harmon and her husband, Moe Harmon, of Seymour, Conn., Karen Roy DeWeese and her husband, Cory DeWeese, of Trumbull, Conn.; as well as her beloved four grandchildren, Haley DeWeese, Patrick Harmon, Jack Harmon and Madeline Harmon.
