I met Jonathan LaBonte 10 years ago when he, myself and a small group founded Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area. The group sought to bring young professionals together through involvement and make them want to live and work here.
To me, that has been LaBonte’s primary goal since then and involvement of young professionals has been extraordinary, thanks in part to his ongoing efforts. He has led by example and there is no bigger cheerleader for bringing young professionals back to our community and keeping them here.
As mayor, LaBonte has been a great leader and voice for Auburn. His ability to bring ideas and facilitate discussions has been impressive, as well as his response to citizen concerns.
Jonathan LaBonte is one of the reasons my family and other young professionals choose to live here. I support him for another term as mayor and invite others to join me.
