AUBURN — Laureat H. Ouellette, 85, died Thursday, Oct. 8.
He was born in Lewiston June 8, 1930, the son of Alcide “Leo” and Imelda Lemay Ouellette and attended local schools. Laureat was employed by Bates Division of Bates Manufacturing Co. for six years and Liquid Carbonics Corp. for 30 years. They moved to Melbourne, Fla., for 22 years before moving back to the Lewiston area.
He was predeceased by his wife, Yvette Deschamps Ouellette, in 2010.
Surviving are his children, Neal and his wife, Belinda Ouellette, Diane Hoyt and husband, Michael, Marc and his wife, Diane Ouellette, David and wife, Doris Ouellette, Janice Blais and husband, Marcel, Donna Collet and husband, Dan, and Jim and his wife, Pam Ouellette; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way; one brother, Armand Ouellette; and companion, Pierrette Frechette.
