In the Lewiston Ward 4 race for School Committee, there is a new face appearing around town — the face of candidate Benjamin Martin.
Having known Martin for many years and having had many recent conversations with him, I know that he is what Ward 4 is looking for — a fresh face with new ideas. Having two young children set to embark into the Lewiston school system in the next couple of years, he sees the frustrations that many young parents have these days.
He has been attending School Committee meetings for quite some time now and has a good handle on what needs to be done. He has been out in the community, knocking on doors, meeting his neighbors in the ward and listening to their concerns.
It is time to make a change and make a difference in the lives of the children.
