LEWISTON — Calvary United Methodist Church, 59 Sabattus St., has announced its upcoming events for the next two weeks.

The church’s United Methodist Women’s Group will hold its annual Fall Rummage Sale on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16 and 17.

On Friday, doors will be open from 2 to 5 p.m. downstairs in the dining hall. On Saturday, the sale will finish up from 9 to 11 a.m. The dining hall door is on Bartlett Street at the garden entrance.

On Saturday, Oct. 24, the church’s annual turkey dinner and silent auction will feature a homecooked meal with all the trimmings at 5 p.m. followed by the auction. Gift certificates from local businesses as well as one-of-a-kind items will be sold.

The dinner is available for a $10 donation, with a children’s price of $1 per age, up to 10 years. Seating is limited. Call Judy at 207-783-4875.

There is no cost to attend the auction. Auction viewing and bidding begin at 4 p.m. and continue after the meal.
