FREEPORT — Freeport Players is hosting its first Moonlight Masquerade, a dance and Halloween costume party, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

Maine’s premier dance band, the Delta Knights, will play classic rock, swing, R&B and blues.

Attendees can dress up in their favorite costumes — prizes will be awarded and selections from the Players’ collection will be on hand. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

The event is for adults 21 and over. There will be a cash bar, and complimentary refreshments will be served.

The event will take place at the Freeport Community Center, 53 Depot St. Tickets cost $30, and include food and a tax-deductible donation to the Freeport Players.
