1950 – 2015
AUBURN — Eugene I. Frost Sr., 65, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was a resident of Crescent Avenue in Rumford.
Born in Rumford on Sept. 2, 1950, he was a son of Irving and Loretta (Patrie) Frost. He was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford, Class of 1969. He worked for Boise Cascade paper mill in Rumford as a roll wrap operator in the shipping department.
Eugene was a member of the Roxbury ATV Riders Club. He loved spending time with family, racing at Oxford Plains Speedway, fishing, cooking, rock-hounding and attending the Fryeburg Fair.
Eugene was married in Rumford on Oct. 21, 1972, to Rebecca Haines, who died July 4, 2004, in Rumford.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Frost and her fiancé, Carroll Webber, of Rumford; a son, Eugene I Frost Jr. and his wife, Amanda, of Mexico; four grandchildren, John Wendell Jr. of Rumford, Dakota and Ashley Wendell of Buckfield, and Eugene Frost III of Mexico; and many cousins.
