NEWRY – The Board of Selectmen will continue reviewing options for a new veterans memorial at its meeting Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at the Town Office.
Board Chairman Gary Wight said at a previous meeting that the town has memorial plaques recognizing veterans of World War II but it doesn’t list their names or the names of those who served in other wars.
The plaques are outside the Town Office.
Other items on the agenda include:
* Discussion on the Mountain Explorer Committee.
* Discussion on town signs.
