1922 – 2015

AUBURN — Corinne Bellefleur, 92, of 440 Minot Ave., Auburn, and formerly of Cassell Street, Lewiston, died Saturday, Oct. 17, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility, with her family by her side, following a short illness.

She was born in Riviere-Vert, New Brunswick, on Oct. 27, 1922, the daughter of the late Leopold and Levenie (Martin) Thibodeau. She lived most of her life in Lewiston.

She married Camille Bellefleur on Sept. 11, 1951; he died on Dec. 16, 1999.

She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church.

Corinne enjoyed playing cards, sewing, knitting and any kind of crafts. The last six years she lived at Clover Assisted Living in Auburn, where she made many friends with the residents and staff.

She is survived by two children, Anne (Bellefleur) Dutil and her husband, Dave, of Lewiston, and Roger Bellefleur and his wife, Wendy (Caldwell) Bellefleur, of Auburn; four grandchildren who she loved very much, Michelle (Dutil) Gardner and her husband, Brian, of Florida, Christine (Dutil) Martin and her husband, Steve, of Lewiston, Matthew Bellefleur and his companion, Linda Vilseck, of Florida and Monica (Bellefleur) Poulin and her husband, Robert, of Lewiston; six great-grandchildren who made her so happy and who she enjoyed spending time with, Mikayla Dutil, Taylor Martin, Stevie Martin, Keeley Gardner, Christopher Poulin and Morgan Poulin; two sisters, Aline Clavette of New Brunswick, and Hilda (Guerette) Martin of Connecticut; one brother, Oneil Thibodeau of New Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Gertrude Soucy, Annette Desjardins and Dorilda Moreau; and five brothers, Romeo, Maurille, Emille, Gerald and Conrad Thibodeau.
