RUMFORD — A memorial service honoring the life of Michael Alan Palmer was celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at SG Thibault Funeral Home.

The Rev. Tony Rea officiated. A poem, titled “The Hole in my Heart,” was read by Amanda Hatfield. Memories written by Aunts Sue, Jane and Ruth were read by Pastor Tony. Personal reflections were shared by brother, Randy Palmer.

Special music selections were “In the Garden,” “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Burdens are Lifted at Calvary.” A reception followed at the First Baptist Church in Mexico.

Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
