I am writing in support of Auburn Mayor Jonathon LaBonte.
During the past few years, my neighborhood had concerns about the safety of portions of Route 4. LaBonte and others were instrumental in the effort to improve the safety along Route 4. Along with other city officials, Mayor LaBonte met with Department of Transportation officials, spoke in front of the Legislature in support of Route 4 improvements and met with neighbors to hear concerns.
His understanding of transportation issues, especially as it pertains to Auburn, was very helpful in the process of bringing safety improvements to my area. Portions of Route 4 are now much safer, thanks to the efforts by Mayor LaBonte.
I hope others will join me in support of Mayor Jonathon LaBonte in his re-election bid.
