FARMINGTON — Regional School Unit 9 directors voted 11-1 Tuesday to expel a high school student for an indefinite time, Assistant Superintendent Leanne Condon said Wednesday.
Director Iris Silverstein of Farmington opposed the vote.
The student was expelled for allegedly distributing alcohol at Mt. Blue Campus, Superintendent Tom Ward said.
The action followed an expulsion hearing conducted in executive session.
