1949 – 2015
MECHANIC FALLS — Norris E. Stevens, 66, died at his home, following illnesses on Sunday, Oct. 11.
He was born on Jan. 21, 1949, in Norway and attended schools in the Greenwood and Lewiston areas. He met his lifelong companion, Sue, in 1972.
Norris enjoyed working on cars and fiddling with electronics. He was an avid NASCAR fan and most of all, he enjoyed making people laugh.
He will be greatly missed by Susan Stevens; his sisters, Betty Lebrun-Mailhot and husband, Marc, Sally Bean, Sherry Proctor and Annette Stevens; brother, Michael Stevens; and his daughters, Sherry Drown and husband, Ron, Tina Aspen, Lyndsay Stevens and fiance, Rob, and Kelly Stevens. He has 22 grandbabies and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
He was predeceased by his parents, Freeman Stevens and Elizabeth Allen Patten; brother-in-law, Andre Lebrun; and his beloved angel daughter, Dianna Sue Stevens.
